Hello Parents and Students,

Another wonderful sunny day!!!

Today we continued to work on our “About Me” projects. So far I am extremely happy with the progress… the students are keen and excited to make these slideshows impressive in both writing and visual content!!! We are trying to complete the project by Tuesday so parents will get a chance to see them during the “Meet the Teacher” night. So, students (and parents), think about your slides tonight so your ready to input information and pictures tomorrow during our work period.

In math we continued with basic increasing and decreasing sequences. As I mentioned before, parents, please get into a routine of checking over your child’s homework and understanding… Thanks!!!

Today we also used the school cameras to take some photos around Boundary. Since we are doing “patterns” in math this week, we decided to scour the school for patterns, both in nature and human made patterns. Fun, fun, fun!!! Parents, I will try to get the photos online early next week for you to view 🙂

A reminder to all students (and parents) that I am usually available after school if any student needs some one-on-one support… I am alway here to help if I can.

I hope to see many of you tonight at the Ice Cream Social. I will stop by for a short visit as I have to venture to my son’s school for their Ice Cream Social (yikes… I will eat a lot of dessert tonight 😉 ).

Have a wonderful day. Please keep those forms coming in to me and don’t forget that September Scholastic book orders are due on Tuesday 🙂

Mr. Meyer
