Hello Parents and Students,

Outdoor School is drawing near 🙂 The Boundary grade 6’s are scheduled to attend The North Vancouver Outdoor School at the Cheakamus Centre from Wednesday, November 23, 2016 to Friday, November 25, 2016. Today students will be coming home with a some important paperwork regarding this amazing field trip. We are asking all paperwork and money to be submitted to me no later than Thursday, November 3.

Next week I will post the time and date for the Parent Outdoor School Information night hosted here at Boundary. Mr. MacLeod will be going over important information about the program that evening and I would recommend all parents try to attend.

Today I gave the students a lot of time to work on some homework that is due on Monday. If students have been working hard during class, most of the homework listed below should be done and ready for you to check and discuss.

On Monday, I am allowing students to wear Halloween costumes to class as long as the costumes do not disturb the learning/classes we will still be doing in the morning. In the afternoon I am allowing students to bring electronics as long as they do not connect to the internet and that all games are appropriate. I will lock the electronics up in my file cabinet in the morning and hand them out in the afternoon. Please make sure electronics are fully charged as students will not have access to a electrical outlet. I will also be showing a movie in the background for those students that do not bring/want electronics.

Thanks for your support and have a wonderful weekend 🙂

Mr. Meyer
